These are tough to review because they take a lot of care, but are better for your health in the long run. There are certain ways to use and clean stainless steel cookware, and you must follow them or you'll get frustrated. It sure beats the cancer causing non-stick options though, so I will fight through! As I scrub off stuck on food, I will tell myself it's better than eating chemicals that cook off into our food or into the air. Using these is truly a commitment to your health. They cook food very well, but are heavy, so if you have arthritis, you may want to look for a lesser gauge steel. I'm a huge advocate for ridding the world of dangerous non-stick cookware, so do yourself and your family a favor and buy these instead.

I have been using my 12 Piece Multi-Clad Pro set for months now and I just purchased a second set for my daughter for Christmas. These pans heat quickly and evenly and are a breeze to clean. As stated in many reviews, pre-heat the pans before adding oil or food to reduce sticking. To clean stubborn food residue, heat some water in the pan and allow to sit for a few minutes. Barkeeper's Friend will remove any discoloration and keep your set looking like new. After months of heavy use they still look like they just came out of the box. I have two pieces of All Clad cookware and the Cuisinart pans perform just as well or better. These pans make a great gift and will last a lifetime.

I bought this set and the larger 5-1/2-Quart Casserole with Cover. Both the three quart saucepans and 5.5 quart sauce pans have warped directly in the center and no longer lay totally flat. I bought them January 2011. I have a normal flat top glass electric range. First time I sent the 5.5 back under warranty. They sent me another in the mail a few weeks later at my cost. It also warped directly in the middle. If you look at it sideways you can pretty much see a tiny displacement. Lay it flat and it will wobble a little. If I were using a gas range, would not be an issue, but on a flat top the problem I have other than it wobbling a little, is that these two pans now spin around very easily.

It just seems to me that on the larger sauce pans, the bottom is just not thick enough for the wider surface area. I dont know. None of the others have had this issue. I am not sure I would buy this again. I would probably just buy something else separate and try it. I am sure not going to mail another pot back.
