The 1000mg coated tablets of Ester-C is a clear Danger and a Warning should be issued immediately! In taking the 1000mg coated tablet, I almost choked to death. The tablet is to large and gets stuck in the esophagus and does not move down or back out easily.
I will be calling Amazon.com and NatureSmart LLC of Bohemia,NY and registering my dissatisfaction with this product.

Sorry this is graphic! I have been taking these vitamins for a while now. I have never been able to swallow them without a LOT of effort, but I just recently noticed that they do not dissolve AT ALL or get digested by me. Is it just me? In order not to find them undigested and floating in the potty after elimination, and I didn't want to waste the money I spent ( and the product actually INSIDE the special coating), I have been attempting to break them in half and then they don't show up later in the potty. They were hard to swallow before but now, I'm having to suffer through sharp edges times 2 pieces of a huge tablet. Maybe the coating is a bit TOO safe for your stomach..or maybe just mine. I definitely wont buy again. I'd rather take 2 small pills or capsules of something else I KNOW will be utilized by my body.

I wish vitamin companies would wise up and stop producting vitamins that nearly choke us to death trying to swallow them. Since the FDA doesn't regulate vitamins and supplements, I guess they think they can get away with these horse pills. I guess it's going to take a law suit to get their attention. These pills are way too big for the normal person to safely swallow them. I try to find capsules because at least they slide down much better.
